Rune Hassner
Rune Hassner (1928–2003) started as an assistant to Rolf Winquist at Ateljé Uggla in 1947 and then continued to work as a freelancer in Paris until 1957, for, among others, VeckoJournalen. It is said that his images "gently ironized" fashion in general, even though he didn’t like models who "twisted their hips"; he considered the models his best friends, as they acted out scenes together with him. Surely, it was with him that Kerstin Lokrantz learned the interplay between model and photographer.
