Summer In Stripes

The poster shows Kerstin Lokrantz as a model for Wahls. The dress is her own design for Wahls. Kerstin worked there as a designer from 1951 to 1958 and was a pioneer in creating the first Swedish clothing specifically for teenagers. The collections were sold worldwide to Harrods in London, Magasin De Nord in Copenhagen, and major department stores in New York. In Sweden, Wahls clothing could be found at Hennes (now HM), Nordiska Kompaniet, and the department store Mea, among others.
