The Carnation
395 kr
The poster features Kerstin Lokrantz for a feature in the weekly magazine Damernas Värld by fashion journalist Kerstin Heintz. The year is 1949.
Kerstin has noted on the back of the original image that "the sleeveless sweater is her own and was something completely new and spectacular." The carnation or rose often accompanied her as an accessory; it was probably inspired by her teacher at Beckmans School (now Beckmans School of Design), Göta Trägårdh, who used roses as a signature in her patterns and drawings.
