The poster depicts Kerstin Lokrantz as a model for the clothing company Wahls. The dress is her own design for Wahls, Kerstin was employed as a designer there from 1951-1958 and became a pioneer in designing the first Swedish clothes specifically for teenagers. The collections were sold worldwide to Harrods in London, Magasin De Nord in Copenhagen and the major department stores in New York. In Sweden, you could find Wahl's clothes at Hennes (now HM), Nordiska Kompaniet, the department store Mea, etc.
